Join us on this adventure to discover Patagonia! The region embraces icy-blue glaciers and icebergs, fjords, urged Andean pinnacles, and large forest reserves. The tour starts in the capital of Chile’s Aisén region, and Northern Patagonia’s only sizable city: Coyhaique, which is setting beneath the basal massif of Cerro Macay that gives it visual appeal. The city has the best tourist infrastructure and easy access to destinations such as the famous National Park Queulat and the famous “marble chapel”. Be prepared to meet locals, discover pristine landscapes, and try delicious typical food.

Day 1 - SCL - BBA
- Our guide will pick you up from the Balmaceda airport and will take you to the city of Coyhaique
- Accommodation at Hostal Patagonia Mármol Hostal (Family Hostel)
Day 2 - Full Day Queulat National Park
On this day, you will visit the unique and famous National Park Queulat. Our guide will pick you up at your place of accommodation. Departure from Coyhaique at 07:00 am. You will go-ahead to the park which is located 220km away. During the way, you will discover the pristine nature of Patagonia, see green mountains, rivers, and visit local spots like the Marchant viewpoint or the Virgin waterfall. You will see “ las Torres lake”.
Once you get to the park, you will do a soft hike of 45 minutes towards the Tempano Lagoon. You will be totally immersed in nature, by walking surrounded by the green forest. After the hike, you will get to a place where it is possible to admire the Queulat hanging glacier “El Ventisquero Colgante Queulat”.
After your experience, you will go back to Coyhaique from Queulat, but first, you will stop on the route to keep admiring the regional geography and see local places as the “Salto del Condor and Las Torres lake”. Then you will return to your place of accommodation.
Day 3 - Marble Chapel Full Day
On this day, you will visit one of the main attractions of the Carretera Austral, the Sanctuary of the Nature Marble Chapels
Our guide will pick you up at your place of accommodation. Departure from Coyhaique at 07:00 am. The experience begins when we start traveling along the Carretera Austral to the town of Puerto Tranquilo, which is located 220 km away.
On this tour, you will see the beautiful forests of Lenga, Ciruelillo, Coigüe, and Ñire. We will visit landmarks on the road such as Laguna Chiguay, the Ibáñez pass with the highest height of the entire Carretera Austral, 1,000 meters above sea level approx. Once approaching the valley of the River Ibáñez we can appreciate the magnitude of the imposing Cerro Castillo, passing through the slope of it and visiting the town of the same name. (During all this journey, we will be crossing the Cerro National Park Castle).
Continuing the journey, through the Murta River Valley, until we find ourselves head-on with the immensity from Lake General Carrera. (Largest lake in Chile and second in Latin America) various stops on the trip for photographs.
Upon arrival in Puerto Tranquilo we will move to the shore of Lake General Carrera to do navigation to the Nature Sanctuary “Capillas de Mármol”, a place of singular beauty scenic, where the lake’s swell has eroded and polished the limestone, forming caves of great attractiveness.
Then, you will enjoy a homemade lunch (always based on meats, also there are vegetarian options). After your exciting experience, you will return to the city of Coyhaique with stops en route to see different spots and also be able to buy local souvenirs in case you want.
Arrival at Coyhaique 20:30 hrs. Approximately to your accommodation at Hostal Patagonia Mármol Hostal (Family Hostel).
Day 4 - Return City of Origin BBA – SCL
- Flight Apt BBA – Apt SCL (Not included)
- Transfer from Coyhaique City to BBA to take a flight to SCL.

- What time? Start 07:00 am on the 2nd and 3rd day. We pick you up at your place of accommodation within the urban Radio of Coyhaique.

On 1st day.

- Transfers Coyhaique – Parque Nac. Queulat (3.5 hrs approx. Transfer), plus 1 stop at

- Visit the “Queulat National Park” (Queulat Hanging Glacier) Hike to Laguna Témpano. Here you have the option of navigating in Laguna Tempano.
- Transfer from Queulat to Coyhaique, stops en route in Salto el Condor and Lake Las Torres.
On the 3rd day.
- Private Transportation from Coyhaique – Puerto Tranquilo. ( 4 hours drive).
- Stop in 3 different places throughout the path to admire nature and take pictures of the Cerro Castillo viewpoint, entrance to General Carrera Lake, and Bajada Ibañez Viewpoint.
- Visit the town of Cerro Castillo.
- Sailing in the General Carrera Lake and visit the Marble Chapels known as “Cavernas de Marmol”
- Lunch at Puerto Tranquilo ( it does not include alcoholic drinks, there are vegan options).
On the 4th day.
- Transfer from Coyhaique City to BBA to take a flight to SCL.

- On the second day, it is possible to sail in the Lake Tempano if you want. There is an extra price of 10.000 CLP approx which is not included in the tour.
